"I have been in the process of renovating my old Spanish house for nearly three years now. I wanted to retain as many original features as possible, including the cane and plaster high ceilings between the wooden beams.

However, this form of construction gives very poor insulation, and bar using expanded polystyrene, or mineral wool and infilling with wood or plasterboard I was at somewhat of a loss on what to do; that is until a friend suggested I use thermilate paint additive.

Although to begin with I was somewhat dubious that a mere additive could perform well enough to provide the insulation needed, I decided to give it a go and have since painted the ceilings using this product.

What can I say, except that it has performed over and above my expectations. My aged, disabled mother lives with us and requires a constant heat source during the winter months, and since using thermilate I have noticed a substantial reduction in electricity consumption.

As a result of this I am painting our south facing house with thermilate to reduce heat absorption during the high temperatures of the summer months. I highly recommend this product for interior and exterior use....."
